Banana Beach

The Big BananaBeach is located in West part of Skiathos is approximately 7 km αςαυ from the city of Skiathos and shortly after Koukounaries. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Skiathos.

Banana has great rhythms  It is also well known because it is not a quite beach during the Summer time ,many parties are hold  at Bananistas bar and here are also  water sports.

This bay that hosts the Great and neighboring Little Banana (nudist beach) called Krassa but lateron and got this name because of the convex shape that refers to the shape of a Banana and the yellow color of the sand. Pine trees that reach the sea and olive trees form a beautiful landscape as the sun goes down the more beautiful images formed until the night comes.

If you decide to go there by bus you need to walk a bit from the nearest stop.The beach mostly gathers young people, since it is possible to get into in all water sports, and cafes with lots of music, with a lot of vitality ... sometimes .. with frenetic rhythms during some summer parties.

The road access is easier by bike, and less easy to drive as the road stops at one point and is not in very good condition. You will find the sign just before Koukounaries.The nearest bus stop is located at Koukounaries and so will need to drive the distance to the beach, about 700 meters, at first uphill and then downhill for a few minutes to the beach.Stop 24 Koukounaries
